Despite his laidback and carefree character, Usumi Ishihara is actually quite reliable and popular amongst the teachers and students. Apart from being the president of the student council, he is also the founder of the pastry club, which often faces the threat of being disbanded due to lack of members. To save his club, Usumi starts to recruit new members while trying to avoid being "hunted" by the vice president of student council, Ren Kisaragi.
